James E. "Jef" Fifer

James E. "Jef" Fifer is the founding attorney of Fifer Law Office and has experience in a wide variety of legal areas.  Jef primarily concentrates his practice now in the area of Criminal Defense.  He was also the Town Attorney for the towns of Georgetown from 1992 to 2004 and Greenville from 1994 to 2004.  Jef received his Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in 1982 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville in 1986.  Jef is admitted to practice law both in Indiana and Kentucky.

Julia A. Fifer

Julia A. Fifer practices in the area of Family Law for Fifer Law Office.  In addition to practicing in Family Law, Julia is a highly sought after mediator in Family Law cases.  Julia received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville in 1985 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville in 1989.  Julia is admitted to practice law in both Indiana and Kentucky.

Jonathan A. Leachman

Jonathan A. Leachman is a 1995 graduate of Bellarmine College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and has received his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1998.  He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and the Commonwealth of Kentucky, before the Indiana Supreme Court, Kentucky Supreme Court, United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.  Jonathan concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, personal injury, and civil litigation.

Eric J. Weitzel

Eric J. Weitzel is a 1997 graduate from Marian College of Indianapolis, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and has received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University - Indianapolis in 2000.  Prior to joining Fifer Law Office, he practiced law as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Clark County, Indiana.  Eric primarily concentrates his practice in the area of Criminal Defense. He is licensed to practice law in Indiana and is a member of the Floyd County Bar Association.
